A day dedicated to understanding and servicing your engine at an Approved Vittorazi Service Centre.
We will explain how things work and why it's important to do basic maintenance as per the Vittorazi User/Service Manual
Although aimed at Vittorazi engines, the principles are the same if you have a different make of 2-stroke engine.
We will examine the carburettor in detail, including how it works, servicing (needle height and pop-off pressure), and tuning (needle jets).
We will continue covering all the peripheral items, such as the Pull Starter, Reduction Drive, and Exhaust Bushing. We will move on to Cylinder and Piston removal and De-coke and how to check the Squish Measurement for the correct gap between the piston and cylinder head.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. Greggs, Subway, and Asda across the road if needed at lunchtime.
The course is a max of ten places per event.
